Q. Everybody’s talking about “ionic silver solution,” so I went to Google, did some research, and discovered so many amazing stories. Now I’m ready to try it for myself! My question is, which product is best? There are so many to choose from. How do I know I’m getting the one that’s right for me.

ReplyDeleteIn the first place, how many minerals, etc are in Mountain spring water right out of a well?
Full of all sorts of minerals & other natural elements
And what happens to silver when mixed with other minerals, etc?
You produce undesirable silver compounds
Pure Distilled water is what is recommended for making Ionic Silver
Don't get me wrong, Mtn spring water is great, as long as it's distilled
That being said, the best way to know what you're getting is to make it yourself
There are several generators on the market & if you decide to buy one, no matter what other features it has, make sure that the current is limited at or below 1.5ma. The rest of the features are just for your convenience
And the silver rods must be pure silver, not sterling and 12 or 14 gauge. .9999 is preferred, but .999 is OK
They are generally advertised as Colloidal Silver Generators, but they are actually Ionic Silver Generators
I believe this is mainly because nobody knows what Ionic Silver is, so never search for it
No matter what anybody tells you, you cannot make Colloidal Silver with one of these generators
I have been making & using Ionic Silver for over 10 years with amazing results and not just for me, for my family & pets as well
So if you are here, your at least on the right track
Finally, if I have misrepresented your product, I apologize. And if that is the case, you need to add some more details about the water, etc. for those of us that are not new to Ionic Silver
But I really do believe that if you want the best, you have to make it yourself
That's about the only way you truly know what you're getting, short of sending it in for testing
Once you have a generator, it is very simple to make, but time consuming, just follow the instructions for the amount of distilled water to use & placement of the rods
Depending on the generator, you may have to stir the solution every 10 minutes or so & after about 30 min (current limited to 1.5ma) you should be around 5ppm & after about 1 hr 40 min you should have about 20ppm
And never, never, never add SALT of any kind or anything else to the process, other than perhaps 1:8 pre-made Ionic Silver to prime the conductivity of the water
Nothing else as it will change the composition & perhaps become an undesirable solution
Just ask Paul Karason, he thought he was taking Colloidal Silver, when he was actually making & taking Ionic Silver that was improperly prepared, resulting in silver chloride, which is responsible for his condition, Argyria
But if you don't have the time to make it or the patience, then at least check the background of the product
How it's made, what type of water used, etc
If the claims are well above 20ppm, 1000ppm for example, you probably have a Silver Protein that is produced through a chemical process
By all means, use Ionic Silver, just do the research & know what you're taking
Don't depend on advertising, because some products, in an off the shelf test by the FDA, have actually been found to contain no silver properties at all. See below:

B. Comments on Safety and Effectiveness
2. One comment expressed concern that many different silver products being marketed are inferior products and are not even true colloids. Another comment stated that the vast majority of silver products being sold are fraudulent products. The comment noted that it had tested a number of these products and found that several actually had no silver content, one did not contain the silver particle size as stated on the label, and only one product exceeded all stated purity and stability claims found on the label
Do the work, it's you body you're putting it in
I truly believe that even the Johnson's would at least agree with this last statement
